Préparatifs voyage

quand il a fallu faire nos choix d'universités pour le départ à l'étranger...: pas simple !

1ère question à se poser : vais-je obtenir le TOEFL ou pas ?? Considérons, connaissant mon niveau d'anglais exceptionnel à ce jour, que je ne vais certainement pas l'avoir...voici donc mon choix final aprés moultes et moultes réflexions et prises de tête! Il fallait sélectionner 9 choix :

Quelques 3 mois passèrent et enfin tomba le verdict : Vous êtes affectée à l' UNIVERSTY OF VAASA, Finland

Et depuis ce jour...tout s'enchaîne...

- inscription en ligne à l'Université

- dossier administratif, relativement simple du fait que la Finlande soit un pays européen (pas de VISA immédiat à demander, SECU européenne etc etc...)

- inscription aux cours

- demande de logement...............je suis d'ailleurs à ce jour affectée à un appartement de 3 personnes dans la résidence LINNA, à Poolosaarie. Je suis d'après les informations que l'on m'a transmises, en colloction avec une allemande et une italienne !! L'anglais sera à forciori notre seul moyen de communication pour commencer !

Vendredi 13 juillet : je fais la connaissance de ma tutrice finlandaise, Ida...Vauhkonen

Hello and welcome to Finland!

My name is Ida and I?m going to be your international tutor for the 
time you are studying in Finland. My job is to help you to integrate 
to the Finnish lifestyle and the University of Vaasa. So, for the 
following months we are going to spend lot of time together and if you 
have any problems I?m happy to help you.

Little bit about me then, I?m 23 years old and I study communication 
as my major in the University of Vaasa. Next fall I?m starting my 
fourth year in the University. I was doing my exchange time in Japan 
last fall and because of that I wanted to be an exchange tutor for 
you. I really miss the international atmosphere. So, you probably 
believe me if I say that I?m very glad that you are from different 
countries :)

Then couple of important things which to I hope you answer as soon as 
possible:

1. Your arrival date, time and place (in Vaasa)

2. Have you got an apartment yet? If you haven?t you should contact 
immediately to VOAS (the student housing foundation, www.voas.fi)

3. You should bring your mobile phone with you because the washing 
machines do not work without phones in VOAS. If you don?t have any, 
don?t worry we can get you a cheap one from Finland too.

4. You should bring your passport with you because you need it to open 
a Finnish bank account.

5. Finnish weather can be extremely cold, in winter time even -25 
Celsius degree. So bring enough warm clothes.

6. We have arranged a survival kit for exchange students. It means 
that you can select some curtains, blankets, kitchen supplies etc. for 
20 euro per person or two persons for 25 euros and 15 euros will be 
returned when you leave back home (of course you need to return the 
things too). But this year our University receives more exchange 
students than last year so it can be possible that all students cannot 
get this survival kit packet :(  But we have good flee markets that I 
can take you, so don?t worry about the money!

I?m not sure if I wrote all the important information so if you have 
any questions or anything on your mind, please do not hesitate to ask 
me. It would be great to hear from you as soon as possible because I 
need to let the University know your arrival dates. I?m looking
